At Gulf Harbour Country Club, we are dedicated to nurturing junior golfers through a comprehensive program that develops skills at all levels. Golf instills respect, discipline, self-challenge, and patience in a healthy and engaging way. Our championship course and driving range provide the perfect training ground for young golfers to improve their game and prepare for both friendly and competitive play. Junior tee times are available seven days a week, along with access to our putting greens, pitching, and short game areas.
Junior Coaching Program
Our Junior Coaching Program is led by Jenna Gainford, a PGA Golf Professional and TPI Level 1 Certified instructor. Jenna is passionate about making golf easy, fun, and accessible, aiming to introduce young people to the game from an early age.
Junior players benefit from Gulf Harbour’s world-class practice facilities, SNAG Gear, and our indoor teaching room with FlightScope technology. This program inspires junior players as they learn the game of golf in a fun and safe environment.
Start-a-Golf Academy (Under 6 Years)
This introductory program is perfect for young children just starting out in golf. It covers all aspects of the game, including putting, chipping, and driving the ball on our driving range. The focus is on fun and safety, as well as the fundamentals of putting, pitching, chipping, and full shots. Parental participation is required, and no golf equipment is needed—just suitable footwear and clothing.
Start-a-Golf Academy (7-10 Years)
This program also serves as an introduction to golf for children, allowing them to try all aspects of the game. By the end of the term, your child will have the necessary skills to progress to the Inspire-Your-Golfer Academy. Sessions are limited to 12 children, and no golf equipment is required—only suitable footwear and clothing.
Inspire-Your-Golfer Academy (6-10 Years)
Designed for juniors who want to improve their game, this academy focuses on refining putting, chipping, pitching, and full shots. Continued game improvement and on-course skills are emphasized, with a goal of improving distance and scores. Participants get to play on the golf course and start working on their scores. The academy includes full access to the OP36 Pro Golf App, which allows children to track their progress and gain match play experience by playing 7-9 holes.
Inspire-Your-Golfer Academy (11-18 Years)
Tailored for older juniors, this academy also focuses on refining all aspects of the game. Participants work on improving distance and scores, with a strong emphasis on on-course skills. Like the younger group, they get to play on the golf course and gain match play experience. The program includes full access to the OP36 Pro Golf App for progress tracking.
